Depositing with Maya, and the two places it stops
The deposit itself is four taps. Everything difficult about it happens before the first tap and after the last one: whether the operator still has the wallet switched on, and whether the rail between them classifies the payment. Both are invisible from inside the app.
Before the first tap
Two things are worth settling in advance, because both are cheaper to fix now than later.
The name. The name on the Maya wallet and the name on the casino account should be identical, middle initial and all. Nothing checks this on the way in. Everything checks it on the way out, which is covered in full on cashing out.

The four taps
Assuming the operator lists the wallet among its cash-in methods:
- In the operator's cashier, choose the e-wallet and enter the amount. Enter
the amount you intend to deposit, not the amount you want to arrive — where a fee exists it is usually added, not deducted, and a short balance is a decline.
- You are handed to the payment page. This is not the operator any more. It
is a processor, and the name on that screen is often a company you have never heard of. That is normal and is not a sign of anything.
- Authorise in the Maya app. A push notification or a one-time code. If the
push does not arrive, the app's own notification list usually has it; the code route is the fallback.
- Wait for the balance to move. Seconds to a couple of minutes. If the

The first place it fails: the merchant setting
Whether an operator accepts a wallet is a setting on the operator's side. It is switched on and off for commercial reasons — a processor changed terms, a contract lapsed, a category was reclassified — and none of those produce an announcement. The operator's own payments page is frequently the last thing updated.

The value of the table is the middle column. One message, four causes, and the difference between an afternoon and a fortnight is deciding which one you are looking at before you start writing to anybody.
